Stacker/packer

Job Title: Pallet BuilderJob DescriptionThe Pallet Builder is responsible for placing boxes and packaged products onto existing pallets and stacking them correctly for shipment. This role involves stacking packages coming down a conveyor to build completed orders in a fast-paced, continuous-production environment.

Responsibilities

• Remove boxes and packaged products from the conveyor.
• Place and stack products onto existing pallets.
• Build stable and organized pallet loads for shipment.
• Continuously handle incoming packages while maintaining production pace.
• Identify where products belong and place them onto the appropriate pallet.
• Stack boxes efficiently and securely.
• Keep up with a constant flow of packages coming down the conveyor.
• Inspect packages for visible damage.
• Wrap, label, and prepare completed pallets for shipment as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all warehouse and safety procedures.
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as needed.

• Kitting and picking.
• Ability to continuously handle incoming packages from a moving conveyor while maintaining production pace.
• Comfortable with repetitive lifting, bending, reaching, and stacking throughout the shift.
• Ability to quickly and correctly stack boxes and products onto the appropriate pallets while working under constant production flow.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, order picking, case picking, loading/unloading, production, or material handling preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in an extremely fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable performing repetitive physical work throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to maintain a consistent pace while packages continuously arrive.
• Strong attendance and reliability.
• Ability to follow directions and established safety procedures.
• Ability to work accurately without sacrificing speed.

Work EnvironmentThis position is set in a very fast-paced, continuous workflow environment where packages continually move down conveyors throughout the shift. Employees should be comfortable working at the pace of the operation, as the facility is not climate controlled. Expect to be on your feet and walking for approximately 8 hours per day, involving repetitive lifting, bending, reaching, twisting, and stacking. This is a physically active position with limited downtime between incoming packages. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Lenexa, KS. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.
