Spot Welder / Punch Press Operator

Press Punch / Spot Welder Job SummaryOperate stud welding and punch press equipment to produce quality metal components. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to work instructions, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate stud welding equipment and punch press machines
• Load studs and ferrules accurately
• Inspect weld quality and perform visual inspections
• Monitor machine operation and report equipment issues
• Perform destruct testing per quality standards
• Read and follow work orders and production instructions
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Qualifications

• Experience with spot welding, tack welding, or stud welding
• Experience operating punch press or press brake equipment
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Manufacturing experience required
• Forklift experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to complete production and quality documentation
