Job Title: Skilled Laborer/Cooling Tower TechnicianJob DescriptionThe Cooling Tower Technician assists with the construction, erection, installation, fabrication, and repairs for all types of cooling towers. The technician must efficiently carry out assigned duties without constant supervision, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. Extensive travel may be required depending on project location and duration.Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of mechanical equipment including motors, fans, gearboxes, and drive shafts.
• Select appropriate lumber and materials for the assigned job.
• Prepare layout using rulers, tape measures, framing squares, and calipers.
• Shape materials to prescribed measurements using saws, chisels, and grinders.
• Assemble cut and shaped materials.
• Assist with piping and nozzle installation.
• Erect framework as needed.
• Work at heights while observing 100% tie-off safety protocols.
• Lift up to 50 pounds, bend, climb, and work in various weather conditions.

Essential Skills

• General labor experience in construction.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools such as saws, drills, and wrenches.
• Ability to work at heights and outdoors.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Interest in pursuing a career in construction.
• Cooling Tower experience is a plus.
• Experience in HVAC is advantageous but not required
• Experience using power washers.
• Completion of safety essentials, fall protection, confined space, and OSHA 10 training (client paid).

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr.
