Original job description

Job Title: Sales RepresentativeJob DescriptionThe Sales Representative sells parking lot sweeping, pressure washing, and porter services to a wide range of commercial customers, including property owners, property managers, retail centers, restaurants, homeowners associations, and industrial sites. This is a hunter role focused on originating new business, managing the full sales cycle from initial contact through signed service agreements and first paid invoices, and then transitioning work seamlessly to operations for delivery.Responsibilities

Prospect and close new commercial accounts through in-person visits, phone calls, and consistent follow-up in a primarily field-based role.
Identify and walk customer sites, accurately scope the work required, and present professional proposals using established company pricing.
Adhere to pricing guidelines by selling at or above the companys price floor and never below it.
Own the entire sales cycle from the first conversation through a signed service agreement and the receipt of the first paid invoice.
Hand off closed work to operations in a clear and organized manner, including scope of work, service frequency, site access details, billing contact information, and start date.
Maintain a strong pipeline of active opportunities and provide weekly reports on sales activity and expected closings.
Represent the company professionally in all interactions with property managers, facility staff, and on-site personnel.
Use company-provided pricing tools, proposal formats, and operations support to focus on selling rather than building services from scratch.

Essential Skills

Proven experience selling B2B services, ideally to property managers, facility managers, or commercial contractors.
Demonstrated ability to prospect, cold call, and knock on doors to generate new business opportunities.
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
Effective inside and outside sales skills, including outbound calling and in-person selling.
Solid account management capabilities, including follow-up, pipeline management, and data entry.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office for managing proposals, documentation, and reporting.
Excellent phone skills and communication abilities for engaging prospects and customers.
Strong time management and self-management skills, with the ability to work independently in the Albuquerque metro area.
High attention to detail when scoping work, preparing proposals, and documenting customer requirements.
Effective problem-solving skills to address customer needs and overcome objections.
Valid drivers license
Comfort working in a business professional manner when meeting with property managers and on-site staff.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience selling services to property managers, facility managers, or commercial contractors is strongly preferred.
Prior success in hunter-style roles focused on originating and closing new business.
Comfort working in property-management offices and commercial sites, engaging directly with decision-makers.
Persistence in follow-up, continuing contact until a clear yes or no is received from prospects.
Motivation to have compensation tied directly to closed and collected business rather than time spent in an office.
Ability to use basic sales technology and company-issued equipment such as phones and laptops.
Professional demeanor when representing the company in the field and during client meetings.

Why Work Here? You join a performance-driven environment where your earnings reflect the business you close and collect, supported by uncapped commission potential after 90 days. You receive structured pricing, proposal tools, and operations support so you can focus on selling rather than building services from scratch. Company-issued equipment such as a phone, laptop, and business cards helps you work efficiently in the field, while an independent, trust-based culture allows you to manage your own schedule and pipeline.Work EnvironmentThis role is primarily field-based within the Albuquerque metro area, with frequent visits to commercial properties, retail centers, restaurants, HOAs, and industrial sites. You spend much of your time on-site with customers, walking properties to scope work, and meeting with property and facility managers in their offices. You use company-issued equipment such as a phone, laptop, and business cards, along with Microsoft Office and other standard sales tools, to prepare proposals and manage your pipeline. The environment is business professional, requiring a polished and professional appearance when interacting with clients. Operations, pricing, and proposal support are in place to help you deliver a smooth customer experience while you focus on prospecting and closing new accounts.
