Aerotek is hiring Quality Assurance Inspector Metal Fabrication 🔍 Do you take pride in quality craftsmanship and precision metalwork? We're looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to ensure fabricated stair systems, handrails, and custom metal assemblies meet the highest standards of fit, finish, and workmanship. What You'll Do

• Inspect fabricated metal components throughout production
• Read blueprints, shop drawings, and weld symbols
• Verify dimensions, fit-up, alignment, and weld quality
• Identify defects and ensure products meet specifications
• Use tape measures, calipers, squares, and gauges for inspections
• Partner with welders and fabricators to maintain quality standards
• Document inspection results and support quality audits

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in metal fabrication, welding, or quality inspection
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Experience with handrails, stair systems, or custom metal fabrication
• Knowledge of MIG, Flux-Core, and/or TIG welding processes
• Strong attention to detail and eye for finish quality
• Experience using precision measuring tools
