Production Workers - 1st, 2nd, 3rd Shift

Job Title: Production Worker 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift (START IMMEDIATELY)Job DescriptionThis role involves working in a climate-controlled plastics manufacturing facility to support the production of plastic cups. You will feed product into machines, inspect items for quality, and pack finished goods while maintaining a clean and safe work area. Multiple shifts are available, and you will work a consistent schedule of five days per week with two consecutive days off, which may not fall on Saturday and Sunday.Responsibilities

• Feed plastic cups and related products into production machines in a safe and efficient manner.
• Pack finished products according to established procedures and packaging standards.
• Inspect products for defects or quality issues and remove any nonconforming items.

Essential Skills

• Strong attention to detail to identify defects and maintain quality standards.
• Ability to stand for the entirety of an 8-hour or longer shift.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds safely and repeatedly as needed.

Work EnvironmentThis role is based in a plastics manufacturing facility that is climate controlled, providing a comfortable temperature year-round. You will work on-site on a full-shift schedule, standing for most of the day and performing repetitive tasks at production and packing stations. Shifts include 1st (7:00 a.m.3:30 p.m.), 2nd (3:00 p.m.11:30 p.m.), and 3rd (11:00 p.m.7:30 a.m.). You will work five days per week with two consecutive days off, which may not be Saturday and Sunday. The environment emphasizes safety and requires the use of steel toe shoes or boots, along with adherence to all safety and operational guidelines. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lawrence, KS. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.50/hr.
