Production Worker

Job Title: Production Grinder Day Shift Machine OperatorJob DescriptionThis role operates grinding equipment to process titanium sheets to precise customer specifications. You will work in a fast-paced production environment, handling titanium sheets, monitoring grinder performance, and ensuring high-quality finished products through careful inspection and measurement. The position includes comprehensive training for candidates who demonstrate strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a team setting.Responsibilities

• Operate grinding machines to process titanium sheets.
• Load, unload, flip, and move titanium sheets using conveyors.
• Inspect materials for defects and remove imperfections using grinding tools.
• Measure sheet thickness using micrometers and gauges.
• Perform general production tasks such as:
• Deburring
• Finishing
• Assembly
• Material handling
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
• Meet production goals and quality standards.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to identify defects and take accurate measurements.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy materials throughout the shift.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts.
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled facility.
• No machine operating experience required; training is provided..

Schedule

• 12-hour rotating shifts
• Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
• 3-2-2 schedule
• Work every other weekend with alternating weekends off.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of WASHINGTON, MO. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.22 - $20.22/hr.
