Production Worker 23/HR

Job Title: General LaborerJob DescriptionThis entry-level general labor/baler position offers a wide variety of internal growth opportunities. We seek a motivated individual interested in a long-term career within a fast-paced production environment. The role requires individuals who are safety-minded and mechanically inclined. The primary function involves moving and palletizing pre-wrapped bundles of paper bags at the end of a bag production conveyor line.

Responsibilities

• Follow production order to stack 10-50 pound bundles on pallets.
• Wrap bundles using tape.
• Occasional use of a manual pallet jack.
• Sort and lift pallets.
• Bale 3-5 machine lines per shift.
• Perform general housekeeping duties.
• Execute other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• General labor, construction, production, material handling, loading, unloading.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
• Ability to walk 3-4 miles per shift.
• Open and flexible on shift.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Experience with manual labor and pallet jack.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to meet physical requirements of the role.
• Desire to eventually move into a machine operator role.
• Provides own steel-toed shoes.
• Safety and quality minded.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.80 - $23.80/hr.
