Production Technician

Job Title: Production TechnicianJob DescriptionAs a Production Technician, you will utilize precise processes and tools to set up molds in a variety of machines. You will be responsible for printing work orders, viewing the production schedule, and learning to manage mold cycles. The role involves troubleshooting basic equipment failures and performing preventive maintenance on equipment for upcoming work orders. You will also respond to machine alarms in a timely manner and report any irregularities, such as high scrap rates, to the Team Lead or Lead Technician.

Responsibilities

• Set up molds in various machines using precise processes and tools.
• Print work orders and view the production schedule.
• Learn and manage mold cycles efficiently.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment failures.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment for upcoming work orders.
• Respond to machine alarms promptly.
• Report irregularities, such as high scrap rates, to the Team Lead or Lead Technician.

Essential Skills

• Operation of injection mold machines or 2 years of automotive/mechanical assembly experience.
• 1+ year of machine troubleshooting and preventive maintenance work.
• 1+ year of injection mold setup, including setting molds in machines and running first articles.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in clean room environments.
• Familiarity with medical assembly and clean room operations.

The schedule follows a 2/2/3 pattern with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, providing every other weekend off. Shift differentials are offered for certain shifts. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of BALDWIN, WI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $38.00/hr.
