Job Title: Production AssociateJob DescriptionAs a Production Associate, you operate a variety of food processing and baking equipment, help meet hourly and daily production goals, and maintain a clean and safe work environment within a high-volume manufacturing facility.Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of food processing and baking equipment, including ovens and packaging machinery, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Work on the production line to support continuous manufacturing and assembly activities.
• Meet established hourly and daily production targets while maintaining product quality standards.
• Perform general labor and general production tasks as needed to support overall operations.
• Use hand tools and basic manufacturing equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Monitor product quality and participate in quality control checks throughout the production process.
• Pack and package finished products according to specifications and production requirements.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist with machine operation setup, basic adjustments, and routine checks to keep equipment running smoothly.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues that may impact production or product quality.

Essential Skills

• Experience working in a production environment operating some type of machinery.
• Ability to operate and monitor production line and machine operation in a manufacturing setting.
• Capability to perform general labor and general production tasks for extended periods.
• Attention to detail to support quality control and ensure products meet specifications.
• Ability to perform packing and packaging tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Comfort using hand tools and basic manufacturing equipment.
• Reliability in meeting production goals and following established processes and safety guidelines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience in a bakery or food processing environment is a plus but not required.
• History in production, assembly, or machine operating is beneficial.
• Familiarity with food manufacturing processes and quality standards is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn new equipment and procedures and take on additional responsibilities over time.

The standard schedule runs from 6:30 to 6:30. As part of food safety and hygiene requirements, you wear a hair net and beard net as applicable, and production staff wear a smock while on the floor. The environment is non-climate controlled and can become warm, especially in areas near the ovens, so you should be comfortable working in a warm manufacturing setting. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Yadkinville, NC. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
