Job DescriptionThis role supports a multi-faceted industrial coating operation by performing hands-on production tasks such as masking, racking and unracking, mechanical cleaning, packaging, and inspection of metal parts. Production Associates work on 1st or 2nd shift in areas such as final table touch-up, masking, and racking/unracking, helping ensure customer orders are processed safely, accurately, and on time.Responsibilities

• Rack, un-rack, and package customer parts according to work orders, ensuring correct arrangement for storage, transport, and preparation for metal finishing.
• Visually inspect products prior to racking and promptly report any non-conformances to the appropriate leader.
• Record all required racking and unracking information accurately on work orders and related documentation.
• Handle customer products and tooling carefully to prevent damage and maintain product integrity.
• Maintain equipment and the work area in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Consistently follow all safety rules and regulations and work in a safety-minded manner.
• Prepare parts for coating processes to ensure proper adhesion of finishing materials.
• Apply masking materials to parts to prevent certain areas from being coated, following clear instructions and technical drawings.
• Use hand tools to perform accurate masking, mechanical cleaning, and other finishing-related tasks.

Essential Skills

• Ability to perform masking activities for metal finishing and plating processes.
• Ability to perform mechanical cleaning of parts using appropriate tools and methods.
• Proficiency in using hand tools for masking, cleaning, and related production tasks.
• Ability to load and unload parts from coating processes, including heavier components.
• Capability to count, sort, assemble, and pack parts accurately and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail with a quality-minded approach to all tasks.
