Microscope Inspector / Assembler | 1st Shift | $20-$23/hr | San Diego, CAJob DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented Production Alignment Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, aligning, and verifying laser beam placement within optical components and assemblies. The ideal candidate will be adept at working with microscopes, lenses, and small precision parts while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.Schedule & Pay

• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday
• Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• Pay: $20.00-$23.00/hr
• Climate-controlled manufacturing environment
• Contract-to-hire opportunity

Responsibilities

• Align laser beams to ensure proper centering and accuracy within optical assemblies.
• Inspect products and components using microscopes and other precision measuring equipment.
• Handle and work with small parts and optical lenses throughout the production process.
• Follow detailed work instructions and manufacturing procedures.
• Verify product quality and identify alignment issues or defects.
• Accurately record inspection and alignment data.
• Maintain production records and documentation.
• Ensure work is completed according to quality standards and production schedules.
• Handle optical components carefully to prevent damage or contamination.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Essential Skills

• Experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or inspection environment.
• Proficiency in working with microscopes, lenses, optical components, or small parts.
• Ability to perform precision work requiring strong hand-eye coordination.
• Capability to perform repetitive work at a high level of accuracy.

Work EnvironmentThis position operates on the first shift from 6 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, in a climate-controlled environment.
