You'll work alongside experienced maintenance professionals while gaining valuable hands-on experience that can lead to advancement into a Maintenance Technician role. What You'll Do As a Preventive Maintenance Mechanic, you will: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment Change and maintain machine coolant systems Check and replace lubricants, filters, belts, hoses, and other wear components Complete minor mechanical repairs and machine adjustments Inspect equipment for leaks, unusual noises, wear, and potential issues Assist with basic troubleshooting of equipment problems Support facility maintenance and general plant upkeep Safely use hand tools and power tools Accurately document completed maintenance activities Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements What We're Looking For Required
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Interest in maintenance, mechanics, or manufacturing
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work safely in an industrial environment
- Dependable work ethic and willingness to learn
Preferred
- Previous manufacturing, maintenance, automotive, farm, construction, or mechanical experience
- Interest in growing into a Maintenance Technician position
- Experience performing basic repairs or preventive maintenance
