Precision Assembler

Job Title: Precision AssemblerShift: 1st Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pmPay: $23-$25Job DescriptionThis role focuses on the mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, and fabrication of products and related machinery. You will work hands-on with a wide range of tools and equipment, interpret blueprints and specifications, and help ensure that completed products meet high standards of quality and performance. The position offers the chance to be cross-trained in quality inspection and testing, providing a broad and engaging scope of work in a clean, well-organized shop environment.Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly and subassembly of industrial or automotive machinery according to blueprints and specifications.
• Install moving parts such as shafts, levers, bearings, and other mechanical components to build complete pump systems.
• Fabricate metal structures, baseplates, and coupling guards by sawing, cutting, welding, and grinding metal parts to produce high-quality assemblies.
• Drill, tap, and ream holes in metal parts as required for assembly and mounting of components.
• Use hand and power tools, including ratchets, hammers, drills, and other shop tools, to assemble and fabricate parts.
• Measure and verify dimensions using rulers, calipers, and other measuring and testing instruments to ensure components meet specifications.
• Fabricate parts as needed to support assembly, repair, or modification of pump systems and related machinery.

Essential Skills

• At least 2-3+ years of experience in mechanical assembly and subassembly, preferably in an industrial or automotive machinery environment.
• Hands-on experience building industrial or automotive machinery using mechanical assembly techniques.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools such as ratchets, hammers, drills, and related equipment.
• Ability to perform fabrication work, including sawing, cutting, grinding, and basic metalworking tasks.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of EXTON, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
