Now Hiring first Shift Painters in Birmingham, Alabama Job Title: PainterJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled painter to join our team, specializing in truck beds and trailers. You will be responsible for operating spray guns, applying primers, topcoats, and clear coats, and ensuring high-quality finishes.Responsibilities

• Operate spray guns including airless, conventional, and HVLP systems.
• Apply primers, topcoats, and clear coats.
• Mix, spray, buff, coat, and finish surfaces.
• Prepare surfaces for painting, including industrial painting and auto body applications.
• Utilize paint booth and powder coating techniques.
• Polish and buff surfaces as needed.
• Perform sandblasting and powder coating.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in spray gun operation (airless, conventional, HVLP).
• Experience in industrial painting and auto body paint applications.
• Ability to mix paints, hardeners, and reducers.
• Understanding of coating specifications and color matching.
• Knowledge of epoxy, polyurethane, and industrial coatings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with paint booth operation and pressure pot systems.
• Skill in maintaining and cleaning paint equipment.
• Ability to use air compressors effectively.
