Job Title: DriverJob DescriptionThis role involves safely operating company vehicles for local pickups and deliveries, ensuring accurate and timely transport of products and materials while providing reliable service and supporting warehouse operations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles, including cargo vans, box trucks, and other non-CDL vehicles for local routes.
• Complete scheduled local pickups and deliveries in a timely and efficient manner.
• Load and unload products and materials carefully to prevent damage.
• Verify orders and delivery paperwork for accuracy before and after each delivery.
• Secure all loads properly to ensure safe transportation.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and all required documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
• Follow all company safety procedures and applicable DOT regulations.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean, organized, and in good working condition.
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns immediately.
• Assist with general warehouse duties when delivery work is completed, as needed.

Essential Skills

• Valid driver's license with a clean or acceptable driving record.
• Experience in driving and general labor related to deliveries.
• Ability to safely operate cargo vans, box trucks, and other non-CDL vehicles up to 26,000 lbs. GVWR.
• Ability to safely load and unload materials, including repeated lifting of up to 50 lbs., depending on products.
• Strong attendance, reliability, and punctuality.
• Good communication and customer service skills when interacting with dispatch, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to use GPS and navigation tools and follow assigned routes accurately.
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules without constant supervision.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous delivery, box truck, or commercial driving experience preferred.
• Experience with loading, unloading, and securing various types of materials.
• Comfort working in both driving and general labor capacities within a logistics or warehouse environment.

The role requires adherence to company safety procedures and applicable DOT regulations, and you will be expected to keep your vehicle clean and well maintained while working closely with dispatch and warehouse teams in a fast-paced, operational environment. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Edison, NJ. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $46000.00 - $50000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.We have the following benefits for permanent full-time employees
