Job Title: Mechanical AssemblerJob DescriptionJoin our team as a 1st Shift Mechanical-Electro Assembler, working from 4:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, in Orrville, OH. You will be responsible for the mechanical assembly and wiring of medium-sized machinery, including sheet metal components and various other parts such as legs, tanks, handles, vents, ducts, hoppers, and drums.
Responsibilities
- Follow work instructions and prints to assemble parts using bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, glue, or other fasteners.
- Operate hand drills, rotary air grinders, staplers, or riveting machines to assist in assembly operations.
- Test or assist in testing the operation of complete products.
- Lay out, position, align, and fit components together.
- Assemble parts by bolting, riveting, or bonding.
Essential Skills
- Strong mechanical experience relevant to the job duties.
- Experience with a wide variety of hand and power tools.
- Proficiency with measurement tools and tape measure.
- Comfortable working on a step ladder 5-6 steps high and in tight spaces.
- Ability to work effectively on a team of 5-6 people.
- Experience using an overhead crane.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Mechanically inclined with troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Experience in mechanical assembly, wiring, and motors.
- Familiarity with assembling production blueprints and electrical assembly.
- Inspection skills.
