Material Handler

Job Title: Warehouse WorkerJob DescriptionThis role we are currently hiring for is a contract position from the 16th of November to mid January. This role is a technician that will be responsible for unjamming the conveyor system. You will be using a long-stick/grabber to do this. Shifts are either Sun - Wed or Wed - Sat. Shifts are either 6AM - 6PM or 6PM to 6AM. This job is paying $23 an hour. Responsibilities

• Clear jams on conveyance and material handling equipment to maintain system uptime and consistent operational flow.
• Safely climb ladders and gangways to access elevated equipment and remove jam conditions.
• Use basic hand tools to complete assigned tasks across various operational and maintenance projects.
• Follow established safe work practices while performing preventive maintenance checks on a variety of equipment.
• Move equipment and materials weighing up to 49 pounds as part of daily operational and maintenance activities.
• Stand and walk for shifts lasting up to 12 hours while supporting ongoing production and material handling operations.
• Perform regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head to access and service equipment.
• Support production and material handling workflows in a warehouse environment to help ensure consistent throughput.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in using standard hand tools for basic maintenance and repair tasks.
• Ability to lift and move equipment or materials weighing up to 49 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Ability to safely climb ladders and gangways to access elevated equipment and work areas.
• Ability to perform regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Experience working in production, material handling, or warehouse environments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications Comfort working around conveyance and material handling equipment.

• Strong awareness of safety practices in a warehouse or production setting.
• Ability to adapt to different projects and tasks within both warehouse and assembly areas.
