Warehouse Worker - Product Repair (1st Shift) $19/HR Location: East Moline, IL5am-1PM+OT

Job Description

Join a fast-paced warehouse team responsible for processing, cleaning, repairing, and preparing containers, racks, and plastic totes for shipment. This hands-on role combines forklift operation, product repair, inventory tracking, and material handling to keep warehouse operations running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Receive, scan, sort, and process containers, racks, and totes.
• Inspect and repair plastic containers using hand and power tools.
• Operate tote washing equipment and assist with cleaning processes.
• Safely operate a forklift to move materials throughout the facility.
• Load and unload trucks and stage materials for shipment.
• Follow work orders, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Support overtime and occasional Saturday production needs.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of recent warehouse, manufacturing, forklift, or general labor experience.
• Previous forklift operating experience with the ability to safely maneuver in narrow aisles and confined spaces.
• Ability to successfully complete a hands-on forklift assessment.
• Experience using basic hand and power tools, including drills and screwdrivers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Basic reading and comprehension skills to interpret work instructions, labels, and shipping documentation.
• Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekend shifts when required.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of East Moline, IL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
