Material Handler

Job Title: Material HandlerJob DescriptionAs a Material Handler, you will perform general warehouse duties similar to those of a Warehouse Clerk. Serving a global customer base, each order may vary, offering a dynamic and engaging work environment. Your tasks will include picking and pulling kits, inventory control such as cycle counting, and logging items into software. You'll operate tools like pallet jacks or hand-carts to move materials, with the possibility of building crates for international shipments. Each day offers a variety of tasks, and you will work in a team-oriented setting that values mutual respect and the commitment to achieving goals efficiently.Responsibilities

• Perform general warehouse tasks including picking, stacking, racking, stocking, boxing, moving, organizing, cleaning, sweeping, and dock work.
• Manage inventory tasks such as shipping, receiving, inventory control, cycle counting, stocking, tracking, replenishment, labeling, and following work orders.
• Engage in crating and packing activities including measuring, cutting, wrapping, insulating, foam wrapping, bubble wrapping, plastic wrapping, packing parts of a kit, ensuring snug fit, and preparing for truck-proof shipping.

Essential Skills

• Material handling expertise.
• Proficiency in inventory management and cycle counting.
• Competence in computer operation and data entry.
• Ability to operate a sit-down forklift.
• Experience with pallet jacks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ years of warehousing experience.
• Comfortability with using computer software systems for basic transactions.
