Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment within a fast-paced distribution center environment. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and conveyor systems to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient operations. The Maintenance Technician will perform preventive and predictive maintenance, respond to equipment breakdowns, inspect and repair conveyor systems and material handling equipment, and maintain accurate maintenance records. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an industrial environment, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to identify and resolve equipment issues quickly. Candidates should be capable of working independently, following safety procedures, and collaborating with operations teams to improve equipment reliability and overall facility performance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and conveyor systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and ensure minimal downtime.
• Inspect and repair conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Collaborate with operations teams to improve equipment reliability and facility performance.

Essential Skills

• Experience with conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, sensors, and automated material handling systems.
• 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyor systems and controls.
• 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• 1+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading.
• 1+ years of knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
• Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
