  • Connect to and access PLC processors to assist with troubleshooting control systems and equipment behavior.
  • Read PLC programs and burn EEPROMs as part of controls maintenance and system updates.
  • Work with PLC networks such as ControlNet and DeviceNet to diagnose component-level and system-level control issues.
  • Enter, update, and retrieve maintenance information through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Assist and provide technical support to lower-level maintenance technicians, sharing knowledge and guidance as needed.
  • Develop scopes of work and project plans for smaller local maintenance projects and improvement initiatives.
  • Follow and enforce applicable safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and required maintenance processes.
  • Work flexible days and shifts, including weekend and overnight schedules, according to operational needs.
  • Support automated warehouse and distribution equipment, including robotics, automation systems, and material-handling equipment.
  • Apply industrial maintenance practices to hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC-related systems, and power-transmission equipment as required.
  • Use ladder logic, PLC programming concepts, and electrical wiring practices to support troubleshooting and minor control adjustments.
  • Perform welding and basic fabrication tasks when needed to support maintenance and repair activities.
  • Collaborate with operations and other departments to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement of equipment performance.
