Maintenance Mechanic 📍 Sanford, FL💲 $28.00 - $32.00/hr + $2.00/hr Shift Differential for Overnight Shift🕙 Overnight Schedule: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM🔧 Training on 1st Shift Before Transitioning to NightsA growing manufacturing facility in Sanford is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic to support production operations through troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of manufacturing equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for industrial maintenance professionals, mechanics, or mechanically inclined individuals looking to grow their skills in a stable manufacturing environment. Job Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production and packaging equipment
• Diagnose electrical issues involving motors, sensors, relays, switches, contactors, overloads, and electrical circuits
• Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and urgent maintenance needs during production
• Read and interpret schematics, equipment manuals, and work orders
• Assist with machine setups and production changeovers
• Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, mechanical repair, or a related field preferred
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills highly preferred
• Experience working with motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, sensors, and production equipment
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documents
• Mechanically inclined candidates encouraged to apply
• Open to training entry-level welders interested in transitioning into maintenance
