Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Electro-Mechanic I)Essential Skills

• 3+ years of experience and knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and machine shop tools and equipment within a similar working environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems and perform mechanical repairs on production equipment.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics, including maintenance and repair of related systems.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including experience with 120/240/480 volt systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical line diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
• Basic knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), as well as sequential programming devices.
• Experience with running conduit, installing relays, performing terminations, and completing control wiring.
• Experience troubleshooting and replacing electrical components, including AC and DC motor drive controls.
• Proficiency using multi-meters, amp-meters, oscilloscopes, and other necessary electrical test tools.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and their operation.
• Ability to work well with a team and independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic computer skills, including use of email, preventive maintenance schedules, and work order systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a stressful environment that may be loud, dirty, and include confined spaces.
• Valid Pennsylvania drivers license with the ability to drive a 24,900 lb box truck or flatbed with manual or automatic transmission.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electro-mechanics or a similar field, or completion of an apprenticeship in electromechanical maintenance, or a High School Diploma/GED with equivalent years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controlled (PLC) systems in a production environment.
• Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing setting with up-to-date production machinery.
• Comfort working in environments with varying temperatures and levels of cleanliness.
• Strong commitment to safe work practices and continuous improvement of safety procedures.
• Effective communication skills for participating in meetings and contributing to training and documentation.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of YORK, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $62400.00/yr.
