  • Watch for and report any unsafe working conditions or behaviors, and help protect both employees and work in progress.
  • Clean the job site and work area daily, or more often as needed, to maintain a safe and organized environment.
  • Support maintenance needs across multiple facilities, including repairing forklifts, performing building maintenance, and completing small projects as required.
  • Assist with or perform basic welding, as needed, on maintenance or repair projects.
  • Work overtime as needed, including partial shifts on Saturdays, when production or maintenance demands require additional support.

Why Work Here? You will join a skilled maintenance team in a stable, established manufacturing organization that values long-term employee relationships and professional growth. The maintenance department operates in a climate-controlled environment, helping you work comfortably while supporting demanding production needs. The organization supports your success by assisting with the purchase of necessary tools and providing access to experienced teammates who can help you expand your mechanical and electrical skill set. Long employee tenures reflect a culture that values reliability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.Work EnvironmentThis role is based in a manufacturing setting where the maintenance team is responsible for both mechanical and electrical maintenance of industrial machines, with work split approximately 50/50 between the two disciplines. You will primarily support a main production facility that operates punch presses (100300 tons), rewinders, thermoforming machines, cartoning machines, tapers, winders, roller machines, and other packaging equipment. The maintenance team oversees four facilities in total, spending about 85% of the day on preventive maintenance and repairs at the primary manufacturing site and about 15% at other facilities handling forklift repairs, building maintenance, and small projects.
