Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance Mechanic 1st Shift | Industrial Maintenance | Growth OpportunityWe are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support a growing steel distribution and processing facility. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced maintenance professional while developing skills across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and facility maintenance systems.This position is ideal for someone with industrial maintenance experience who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment
• Replace motors, bearings, belts, chains, and other machine components
• Assist with hydraulic and electrical maintenance, including equipment operating up to 480V
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Complete facility maintenance and repair projects as needed
• Support equipment reliability initiatives to minimize downtime and improve production efficiency

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial, manufacturing, or maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs
• Knowledge of hydraulics and industrial equipment
• Ability to safely work around electrical systems
• Welding experience is a plus
• Technical school or maintenance-related training is welcomed
