Job Title: CNC MachinistShift: 7AM-3:30PMPay: $19-$24/hourJob DescriptionThe CNC Machinist will be responsible for operating vertical and horizontal CNC mills and lathes to produce quality parts in a manufacturing environment. This position requires a minimum of 1+ year of hands-on CNC machining experience, including loading materials, running production cycles, and maintaining production output goals. The role also involves troubleshooting basic machine issues, responding to alarms, restarting equipment when needed, and working closely with the production team to maintain safety, quality, and productivity throughout the shift.Responsibilities

• Operate vertical and horizontal CNC mills and lathes to produce quality parts.
• Load materials into machines, start and monitor production runs.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure they meet specifications.
• Troubleshoot basic machine issues and respond to alarms.
• Restart equipment after downtime events.
• Communicate recurring problems to maintenance or setup personnel.
• Maintain safety, quality, and productivity throughout the shift.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 1+ year of hands-on CNC machining experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot machine alarms and diagnose basic mechanical issues.
• Experience with in-process and final product inspections using precision measuring tools.
• Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Capability to lift 50 pounds.
