Machine Technician

Entry-Level Machine Operator Pay: $22$27/hourLooking for a great-paying opportunity to get your foot in the door with a leading manufacturer? We are hiring Entry-Level Machine Operators / General Laborers to join our paint department.In this role, youll help prepare metal products for painting, operate equipment within the paint area, inspect finished parts, and prepare completed products for shipment. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.

What Youll Do

• Prepare metal parts for painting, packaging, and shipment
• Clean grease, dirt, rust, and debris from parts prior to painting
• Mask and protect areas that should not receive paint
• Hang and properly space parts on the paint line
• Remove finished parts from the paint line safely and efficiently
• Inspect painted products for quality and defects
• Palletize, label, and stage finished orders for shipment
• Use basic hand tools and power tools
• Follow production instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards
• Keep your work area clean and organized
• Work closely with your team to meet daily production goals

What Were Looking For

• Manufacturing, production, warehouse, assembly, machine operation, or general labor experience is preferred
• Paint line or paint preparation experience is a plus, but not required
• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to stand and work on your feet for up to 10 hours
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Dependable with excellent attendance
• Able to work well as part of a team

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of East Peoria, IL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
