Brand new facility and machines - Hiring for 1st & 2nd Shift Bindery Operators! JOB FAIR WEDNESDAY NOV. 11TH FROM 10:00AM-2:00PM (Please text Ali your information and time > 612.503.3975) 1st Shift: 6:00AM-230/3PM Mon-Fri (Pay $23/hr)2nd Shift: 2:00PM-10/11PM Mon-Fri (Pay $25/hr) Must train on 1st shift for 4 weeksResponsibilities

• Read and interpret work orders to determine instructions, specifications, and requirements for bindery and coating work.
• Perform machine setup activities, including adjusting settings, preparing materials, and verifying proper operation before production runs.
• Inspect coated products for quality, deciding whether to accept or reject items to maintain required quality levels.
• Perform daily and periodic maintenance on coating and bindery equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot machine issues, including mechanical, printing, and coating problems, to quickly identify and resolve root causes.
• Follow written instructions, production procedures, and safety guidelines accurately and consistently.
• Handle materials and finished products, including lifting up to 50 pounds, to support production and workflow.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to facility cleanliness and safety standards.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of machine operating experience + a manufacturing or general labor.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with industrial machinery and printing equipment.
• Experience with printing presses, bindery operations, or machine operation in a production setting. (A PLUS!)
• Ability to set up machines and having mechanical inclination.
• Troubleshooting skills for printing presses, coating machines, and related equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly as part of daily duties.
• Detail-oriented approach with a strong ability to follow written instructions and work orders accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose mechanical and quality issues quickly.
• Reliability and strong work ethic in a manufacturing or printing environment.

The building has heating and air conditioning, although temperatures can vary and become warmer or cooler when dock doors are open. The production area is louder due to operating presses and coating equipment, and employees work around industrial machinery and materials.
