What You'll Do As a Laundry Tunnel Operator, you'll play a key role in ensuring linens and textiles are processed efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and production performance.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate industrial tunnel washers, dryers, and related production equipment.
• Load linens and textiles into washers while ensuring proper batch weights and classifications.
• Select and enter correct wash formulas based on product requirements.
• Add cleaning agents, detergents, dyes, and bleaches according to established procedures.
• Monitor equipment performance and respond to alarms or operational issues.
• Assist with sorting and classifying soiled linens for processing.
• Generate and maintain production reports and count sheets.
• Accurately track production volumes and processing data.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures while working around industrial equipment and cleaning chemicals.
• Support team members and assist in achieving daily production goals.

Physical Requirements

This is an active position that requires:

• Standing and walking for the majority of the shift.
• Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to push and pull laundry carts weighing approximately 250 pounds, with some carts exceeding 600 pounds.
• Ability to maintain productivity throughout a physically demanding shift.
