Machine Operator

Job Title: Machine OperatorJob DescriptionThis role involves setting up and operating a large plate saw and band saw to cut aluminum products. The operator will handle a sit-down forklift to transport finished materials and utilize a weigh scale to record inspection measurements. Additionally, the candidate must be able to read a tape measure, micrometer, and caliper for post-cutting inspections and use an overhead crane to move large metal pieces upon completion.Responsibilities

• Set up plate saw by entering dimensions and material specifications.
• Operate a sit-down forklift to transport finished materials.
• Utilize weigh scale to record inspection measurements.
• Conduct inspections using tape measure, micrometer, and caliper.
• Use overhead crane for moving large metal pieces.
• Maintain processing equipment in safe and clean condition.
• Keep processing area clean, safe, and orderly.
• Accurately complete all required information entry.
• Apply metal to customer orders and process material according to specifications.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Work EnvironmentThe role requires working the second shift from 2pm - 10:30pm, Monday to Friday. Personal protective equipment is provided, including hard hats, safety glasses, vests, gloves, sleeves, and vouchers for steel-toed shoes from Red Wing Shoes. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40955.20 - $55411.20/yr.
