Machine Operator

Now Hiring Machine Operators!Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to support our production priorities and ensure the smooth operation of CNC machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions meticulously.Responsibilities

• Prioritize production tasks as established by the Drilling Department Supervisor.
• Use calipers for board measurements and pin gauges to check materials.
• Operate CNC Excellon or Hitachi machines efficiently.
• Communicate any material inventory concerns to the Department Supervisor.
• Report any changes in production status to the Department Supervisor.
• Follow all company and departmental processes and procedures.
• Monitor the quality of work and ensure compliance with process and product specifications.
• Assist new hires with basic setup and operations, provide relief support on equipment and processes.
• Participate in the evaluation of processes, new equipment, and procedures.

Essential Skills

• General labor and production experience.
• Proficient in machine operation and blueprint reading.
• Experience as a Drill Operator and in machine operating.
• Ability to follow travelers and work instructions.
• Proficiency with assembly and hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of understanding prints and specifications.
• Ability to visually verify fine detail work.
• Capability to pull/lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milpitas, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
