Machine Operator

Immediately Hiring for Machine Operator Pay: $21 an hour Location: Brown Summit Rotating shifts between 1st & 3rd on a 2-2-3 Schedule

Job Title: Technical Machine OperatorJob DescriptionJoin our team as a Technical Machine Operator, where you will manufacture monoaxially oriented heat shrinkable film used in packaging and labeling applications for various grocery store products. You will be trained to work on slitting and extrusion machines, contributing to the production of high-quality packaging materials.Responsibilities

• Load materials into machines before running production work orders.
• Perform setups, changeovers, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting.
• Operate slitting and extrusion machines efficiently.

Essential Skills

• At least 2+ years of technical machine operating experience.
• Ability to perform machine operation, setups, and changeovers.
• Experience with extrusion, slitting, molding, or injection molding.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Capable of lifting 50+ lbs.
• Comfortable with bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling materials.

Work EnvironmentWork in a non-climate-controlled but comfortable environment with a modern and clean facility. Be prepared to work in varying temperatures, with extra breaks for hydration during warmer months. The facility includes a smoking room and a break room. Safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, and hair nets are required. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Browns Summit, NC. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
