Machine Operator

Job Title: Machine Operator (1st Shift) ($19.00/hr.) Job DescriptionWe are seeking dedicated individuals for two Machine Operator positions in a dynamic production environment. The roles involve working with CNC, thermoforming, and rotational mold machines, ensuring the seamless operation of these machines. The position offers the opportunity to work in a family-owned custom shop with a team-oriented culture. We are looking for individuals to start as soon as possible after interviewing. • Operate CNC, thermoforming, and rotational mold machines.
• Load product into machines and adjust frames to fit plastic sheets.
• Run product through conveyors and ovens.
• Set up machines according to plastic sheet size and cycle time.
• Use hand tools to tear down machines and insert new tooling for custom orders.
• Troubleshoot problems during first product runs.
• Work closely with the quality department, ensuring production approval by QA.
• Participate in tear downs, set ups, and running parts on forming machines.
• Assist in various departments, including shipping, when needed.
• Read custom work orders and follow production schedules to meet goals.
• Lift up to 40lbs as needed.
• Read tape measures and utilize basic shop math.
• Assist with routine preventative maintenance on machines.

Essential Skills

• Experience working in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Capability to lift 30 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience operating machines is a plus.
