When issues arise, you will help diagnose and resolve them, sometimes disassembling and rebuilding components over one to two weeks. You will collaborate closely with on-site engineers to ensure each machine meets quality and performance standards.Responsibilities
- Assemble new roll forming machines from individual metal components, following blueprints and assembly instructions.
- Drill precise holes in metal parts and securely fasten components to build complete machines.
- Use hand tools and power tools, including drills, calipers, tape measures, and other standard assembly equipment, to perform mechanical assembly tasks.
- Perform minor electrical work related to machine assembly, with training provided on wiring and basic electrical connections.
- Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics and blueprints to guide assembly and troubleshooting work.
- Test completed machines to verify proper operation, performance, and safety before they are delivered to customers.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues when machines do not function correctly, working through systematic diagnosis and repair.
- Disassemble and reassemble machine components as needed to identify and correct problems, which may take one to two weeks for complex issues.
- Work closely with on-site engineers to resolve technical challenges and improve machine design and functionality.
- Perform packaging and boxing of machines and components for shipment, ensuring secure and damage-free transport.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following manufacturing and safety standards.
- Use measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers to ensure accurate alignment and fit of parts.
- Operate manufacturing and assembly equipment as required during the machine build process.
