- Remove live turkeys from transport crates.
- Hang turkeys by their feet on production-line shackles.
- Follow animal welfare standards and humane handling practices.
- Maintain production speed and accuracy on a fast-moving line.
- Follow safety, sanitation, and facility procedures.
- Work closely with supervisors and team members.
Physical Requirements
You should be comfortable with:
- Standing and walking for up to 10-hour shifts.
- Repetitive use of your hands, wrists, and arms.
- Frequently reaching at shoulder height.
- Lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 70 pounds.
- Working in a physically demanding environment around live animals.
Preferred Experience
Helpful backgrounds include:
- Farming or agricultural work.
- Livestock or animal handling.
