What You'll Do

As a Quality Inspector, you'll be a key member of the Quality team responsible for ensuring incoming materials, work-in-process products, finished medical devices, and packaging meet rigorous quality and regulatory standards.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of medical devices, components, and packaging.
• Conduct pre- and post-sterilization inspections to ensure compliance with product specifications.
• Review Batch History Records (BHRs), sterilization records, and manufacturing documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Utilize measuring equipment and inspection tools to verify product quality and conformance.
• Document inspection findings accurately within quality systems, ERP software, and controlled records.
• Investigate non-conforming materials and products while supporting root cause analysis activities.

What We're Looking For

Required Experience

• Experience performing quality inspections in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to use calipers, gauges, measuring equipment, and inspection tools.
• Strong documentation and recordkeeping skills.
• Experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to follow procedures, work instructions, and controlled documentation.
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes.

Bonus Points For

• Medical device manufacturing experience.
• FDA-regulated or ISO-controlled environment experience.
• Cleanroom manufacturing experience.
• Experience reviewing Batch History Records (BHRs).
• Exposure to CAPAs, non-conforming material investigations, or complaint investigations.
• Knowledge of traceability and quality system requirements.

Schedule

2nd Shift

Monday-Friday

3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Training may be completed on 1st Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) before transitioning to your regular schedule.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scottsdale, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
