General Production Worker

Job Title: General Production WorkerJob DescriptionThe General Production Worker supports day-to-day manufacturing operations by performing a variety of hands-on tasks. This role contributes directly to efficient production processes, product quality, and overall workflow by handling general labor duties, using hand tools, and assisting with general production activities.Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and machinery in a manufacturing environment to support the production of lightweight aggregate materials.
• Monitor material flow, production processes, and equipment performance to ensure quality and efficiency standards are met.
• Perform routine inspections, housekeeping, and preventive maintenance tasks to maintain a safe and organized work area.
• Load, unload, and transport raw materials and finished products using forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and operational procedures.
• Conduct quality checks on products and report equipment issues or production concerns to supervisors.
• Assist with troubleshooting mechanical and operational problems to minimize downtime.
• Maintain production records and completed required documentation accurately.
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
• Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Shepherdsville, KY. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.95/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
