General Production Worker

Job Title: General Production WorkerJob DescriptionThis role supports a food manufacturing production line by operating, monitoring, and maintaining equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent output. You will help keep machinery clean, monitor gauges and instruments, and respond quickly to any issues to maintain product quality and production flow.Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment used in food manufacturing to ensure consistent and safe operation.
• Check and control the equipment that produces food products, following all established procedures.
• Monitor instruments, such as temperature gauges, at regular intervals and document readings as required.
• Keep machines clean and free of dirt at all times to support food safety and quality standards.
• Stop the machine immediately when problems occur in the production process and report faults to a supervisor, manager, or engineer.
• Ensure the production line has a steady supply of raw materials or components to avoid interruptions.
• Adjust the speed of the conveyor belt as needed to maintain proper flow and throughput.
• Follow all instructions, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines while performing production tasks.
• Work effectively as part of a team while also completing tasks independently when required.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lodi, NJ. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.90 - $19.90/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
