Job Title: General ProductionJob DescriptionJoin our team in a crucial role where you will perform visual inspections of cables as they come off the line, tag broken or dysfunctional wires, and utilize a pallet jack to move materials throughout the facility. You will assist in various areas of the manufacturing plant, including palletizing, packing, moving materials, general cleaning, and helping where needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of cables as they come off the line.
• Tag broken or dysfunctional wires.
• Utilize a pallet jack to move materials through the facility.
• Assist in other areas of the manufacturing plant as needed.
• Palletize, pack, and move materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area.

Essential Skills

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Willingness to work overtime.
• Experience with pallet jacks.
• General production experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Machine operating experience is a plus.
• Being bilingual is advantageous.
• Computer proficiency is beneficial.

The machinery is large and somewhat dated, contributing to a unique production process. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valparaiso, IN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
