General Laborer

Job Title: General LaborerJob DescriptionThe General Laborer builds and assembles PODs that hold inventory on a robotics floor in a fast-paced, loud, and team-oriented warehouse environment. This role involves repetitive heavy lifting, use of hand and power tools, and adherence to safety and cleanliness standards while meeting production targets for completed PODs.Responsibilities

• Build and assemble PODs, metal workstations, and inventory shelving units on the robotics floor according to established specifications.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team to complete a designated number of PODs within specific timeframes and production goals.
• Perform repetitive lifting, pulling, and pushing of materials and equipment, including items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Use hand tools such as hammers, rivet guns, and pallet jacks, as well as appropriate power tools, to complete assembly tasks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy work area, following all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Operate in a loud, fast-paced, and sometimes chaotic warehouse environment while staying focused on quality and productivity.
• Stand and walk for extended periods of time to support continuous production and assembly activities.
• Follow measurements accurately using a tape measure to ensure proper assembly and fit of components.
• Demonstrate punctuality, reliability, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork throughout all daily tasks.

Essential Skills

• Experience in general labor, construction, production, or carpentry, with exposure to commercial construction or assembly work.
• Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting, pulling, and pushing of up to approximately 50 pounds.
• Proficiency using hand tools such as hammers, rivet guns, and pallet jacks.
• Experience working with various types of power tools in an assembly or construction setting.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately for assembly and construction tasks.
• Capability to stand and walk for extended periods of time in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull equipment up to approximately 45 pounds.
• Strong safety awareness and willingness to follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in commercial construction and assembly is highly beneficial.
• Experience in building and assembling metal workstations and inventory shelving units.
• Comfort working in a loud, fast-paced, and occasionally chaotic warehouse setting.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in a work area.
• Strong attention to detail when measuring, assembling, and inspecting components.
• Positive attitude and flexibility to adapt to changing production needs and priorities.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Beaumont, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
