General Laborer

Job Title: General Laborer Precast Concrete ManufacturingJob DescriptionThis role involves performing a wide range of hands-on duties in an industrial manufacturing environment focused on precast concrete products. You will work as part of a team to safely and efficiently strip and clean concrete forms, prepare steel molds, perform basic carpentry tasks, and maintain a clean, organized facility while helping to produce high-quality precast concrete components.Responsibilities

• Strip and clean concrete forms and finished concrete products to prepare them for reuse or further processing.
• Prepare steel molds for filling with concrete, including cleaning, assembling, and ensuring proper setup according to specifications.
• Perform basic carpentry tasks related to formwork and mold preparation using hand and power tools.
• Use a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in daily tasks.
• Support general construction-style labor activities associated with precast concrete production.
• Carry out facility maintenance and housekeeping duties to keep work areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Follow simple written instructions and verbal directions to complete assigned tasks accurately and on time.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and maintain high quality standards for all precast concrete products.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines while performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs periodically throughout the day.

Essential Skills

• Experience in manufacturing or construction environments preferred.
• Ability to perform general labor tasks in an industrial setting.
• Basic carpentry skills related to formwork and mold preparation.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
• Knowledge of basic math and measurements to support accurate production work.
• Ability to read and write simple instructions and follow documented procedures.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members.
• Capability to lift up to 40 lbs periodically throughout the day and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Reliability and willingness to work in both indoor and outdoor conditions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience working with concrete or precast concrete products is an asset.
• Experience in construction trades or industrial labor is beneficial.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
