General Labor - Shipyard

Job Title: General LaborerJob DescriptionWe are seeking dedicated individuals to join a short-term labor project, lasting 1-2 weeks, focused on ship cleaning tasks. This role involves supporting various general duties on the ship, including assisting in painting, performing minor repairs, sanding parts, and utilizing light hand and power tools to fix necessary areas. Additional tasks include pressure washing, sweeping, and other light cleaning duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist in painting and performing minor repairs on the ship.
• Sand parts as necessary using appropriate tools.
• Utilize light hand and power tools for fixing ship parts.
• Conduct pressure washing and ship cleanup.
• Perform sweeping and other general cleaning duties.

Essential Skills

• Experience with needle gun usage.
• General labor skills including pressure washing, sanding, painting, and cleaning.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to work as a helper in general labor tasks.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
