Job Title: General Labor (Golf Course)Job DescriptionThis position involves supporting special grounds improvement projects at a university's golf course. Seasonal General Laborers will assist with sod installation, bunker renovation, landscaping, and general course improvement projects throughout the fall season. It offers a rewarding opportunity for those who enjoy outdoor work and wish to contribute to maintaining a premier recreational facility. The assignment runs immediately through mid-December, with potential to return in spring from March through May for further enhancement projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with sod installation and turf replacement projects
• Support bunker renovation and sand replacement activities
• Perform grading, raking, shoveling, and material movement
• Assist with landscaping and grounds maintenance projects
• Operate hand tools and basic landscaping equipment
• Load, unload, and transport materials across the golf course
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and project guidelines
• Support other golf course improvement projects as assigned

Essential Skills

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs
• Reliable transportation and attendance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in landscaping, construction, golf course maintenance, or general labor is preferred
• Outdoor labor experience

The work schedule is full-time seasonal, with day shift hours from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks. Overtime may be available based on project needs. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Bloomington, IN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
