Forklift Operator

Hiring 1st shift Forklift Operator in York PA! Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team. This role involves operating stand-up forklifts predominantly in the receiving and shipping areas of the facility. Candidates must have prior experience, as this position requires proficiency without training. The job entails moving materials and pallets to assembly lines, removing finished products for wrapping and shipping, loading and unloading trucks, scanning packages for shipping, and maintaining safe and efficient operations. While forklift operation is the primary duty, employees may occasionally be asked to assist with other tasks, such as breaking down boxes and cleaning assembly areas. A spirit of teamwork and cooperation is essential.Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.
• Transport materials and pallets to assembly lines.
• Remove finished products for wrapping and shipping.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Scan packages for shipping.

Essential Skills

• Stand-up forklift driving experience - 2+ years.

Saturday overtime is generally voluntary, but may be mandated during busy periods. Employees should be comfortable working overtime as needed.
