Forklift Operator

Aerotek is immediately hiring for a 1st shift Sit-Down Forklift Operator with a chemical manufacturer in Cinnaminson, NJ. We're seeking an experienced forklift operator who is ready to grow with an exciting team!What We Offer

Job Description

• Move materials efficiently within the warehouse to support daily operations.
• Load and unload trucks safely using a sit-down forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Use RF scan guns and other scanning devices to track, record, and verify inventory and shipments.
• Arrange, route, transport, and stage materials or products for production and outbound shipments.
• Fill orders accurately and prepare items for shipment, including labeling and documentation as needed.
• Place products on racks and in designated storage locations to maintain an organized warehouse.
• Stage products for truck drivers to pick up according to schedules and shipping requirements.
• 1st shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Mon - Fri

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience operating sit-down forklifts proficiently in a warehouse environment
• Hands-on warehouse experience sufficient to begin contributing quickly with minimal equipment training.
• Experience with shipping, receiving, and material handling in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to use RF scan guns or similar scanning devices to manage inventory and shipments.
• Capability to load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Skill in placing product on racks and staging products for truckers to pick up.
• Experience shrink wrapping pallets and securing loads.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cinnaminson, NJ. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
