Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift Join a Growing Team with Long-Term Career Opportunities Are you an experienced forklift operator looking for a stable position with room to grow? What You'll Do

• Operate stand-up forklifts and cherry pickers to move materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
• Stage materials for production and ensure products are available when needed.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy.
• Use warehouse management systems, RF scanners, Excel, and other computer applications to track inventory.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory control activities.
• Perform quality checks to ensure products are packaged and labeled correctly.
• Support shipping, receiving, and general warehouse operations.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area and follow all safety procedures.

What We're Looking For

• Experience operating stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, or similar material handling equipment.
• Warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, order picking, inventory, or material handling.
• Comfortable using a computer, warehouse management system, or RF scanner.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift.

Schedule 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:00 PM

• Overtime and occasional Saturdays available based on business needs.
• Paid training provided on 1st shift for approximately two weeks.

Work Environment This position is based in a warehouse and production facility where forklifts and other material handling equipment are used daily. The facility is not climate controlled, so temperatures may vary throughout the year. Employees should expect an active role that includes walking, standing, lifting, and moving materials throughout the shift. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
