Fabrication & Assembly Technician | Alameda, CA | $30-$50/hrWe are hiring a Fabrication & Assembly Technician for a hands-on manufacturing opportunity in Alameda, CA. This position will support the fabrication and assembly of large metal and plastic parts, components, and subassemblies.This is a strong opportunity for someone with experience in fabrication, mechanical assembly, prototype manufacturing, or related hands-on manufacturing environments.What You'll Do

• Fabricate and assemble metal and plastic components.
• Cut, drill, trim, fit, bond, fasten, and finish parts.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Fit and align larger components and assemblies.
• Follow drawings, measurements, and work instructions.
• Inspect completed work for fit, finish, dimensions, and overall quality.
• Identify and communicate defects or quality concerns.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area.

What We're Looking For

• Previous fabrication, mechanical assembly, or manufacturing experience.
• Experience working with metal and/or plastic parts.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read measurements and follow basic drawings or work instructions.
• Experience with larger components or assemblies is a plus.
• Prototype, medical device, precision manufacturing, metal fabrication, or plastics experience is a plus.
