Electrician

Job Title: ElectricianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and components. You will read electrical schematics, panel drawings, and equipment manuals, demonstrating your ability to plan, execute, and complete electrical projects independently. Your role will involve bending conduit, pulling wire, landing new circuits in accordance with facility standards, and assisting with new equipment installations.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and components.
• Read electrical schematics, panel drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Plan, execute, and complete electrical projects independently.
• Bend conduit, pull wire, and land new circuits in accordance with facility standards and best practices.
• Assist with new equipment installs, including power drops, panel modifications, and coordinating with vendors/contractors.
• Install and test ground rods.
• Upgrade lighting ballasts from fluorescent to LED.

Essential Skills

• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of LOTO and Arc Flash practices.
• Comfortable with 120480V systems, motor controls, VFDs, and basic panel/control troubleshooting.
• Proficient in installation, wiring, conduit bending, and repair.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Must own basic tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Licensed Journeyman Electrician with 8+ years preferred or 10 years of equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting, aerospace/defense preferred, general industrial acceptable.
• Proven expertise in electrical power distribution, transformer installation, and industrial wiring.
