Now Hiring - Diesel Mechanics in Middletown, PA Competitive Wages - $25-$40/hour (based on experience)2nd Shift: 3:00PM-11:00PMJoin a Growing Diesel Shop We are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to help support the rebuild and growth of our trucking maintenance operation. This role focuses primarily on Ford, Mack, and International trucks. If you enjoy troubleshooting, hands-on repairs, and working independently, this is a great opportunity to make an impact.Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel trucks and equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and DOT/state compliance repairs.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Repair or replace engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, and drivetrain components.
- Use diagnostic software and electronic testing equipment to identify issues.
- Complete welding, fabrication, and occasional body repair work as needed.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of diesel mechanic experience.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in diesel, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage repairs from diagnosis to completion.
- CDL Class A or B (or ability to obtain within one year) preferred.
- PA State Inspection License and OSHA/MSHA certifications are a plus.
